Hi friends,I need one help. how can i stop users from changing his notes id password. The user will perform all activities (access mail , sending mail, fowarding , archive etc.) but he should not change his password. How can the adminitrator do that.

Well, as far as I know there is no direct method to do so…
You can do two things…
Make a copy/backup of the user.id file with a standard password. (or user Recover-id) now you always have an id-file with a known password.
Set the security level on the password to 0 characters. Now there will be no password on the user.id file, and the user cant impossibly change it…

If the user has less than Author access to the NAB or if their person doc does not list their username as an author, then they will not be able to change their person doc. If the user changes their password while not connected to the network, they will be denied access to the server.
