Well, the new docs indicate that I should at least be able to view pass-thru HTML in the Mac client, but that’s grayed out. In most places, the only thing that’s operable is view special characters or view page breaks. That’s pretty un-useful to me. But passthru HTML is vital, as is THE ABILITY TO MARK TEXT AS PASSTHRU HTML IN THE MAC CLIENT. I’ve been asking for this for a couple of years, without it the Mac client is pretty useless as a tool for authoring web content, since I wouldn’t even be able to edit content created with a Windows client in an NSF.

As of the Beta 2, still can’t flag text as passthru in the Mac client 8.5, but I did “remind” a few folks at Lotusphere about this, so hopefully it’s not too long in coming.
