many times errors occurred on the server and the status is returned 0.
Besides, there is a serious problem with that function (or in lotus notes itself), when I hide the design of my database, sometimes the agent does not run. Everything else run but that agent.

The status just tells you whether the agent ran – not whether it ran without an error. If you need the agent to report status, you could have it write information in the document whose ID you pass it.
The only reason I can think of that it might matter whether the design is hidden, is if the agent uses a script library that has been modified more recently than the agent has. Recompile all LotusScript in the template to remedy this.

Hi Andre,Another bug in lotus is that if you recompile all lotus script in a database, replace design failed when you try to hide the design “Design replace failed, Memory request…”
you have to resave manually all you redesign element.
By the way, my agent is not using a script library.
in my case the agent did not run because of hidden design, should not the status return something?
I even wrote an agent that runs over my agents and delete them all, then I replaced design (hide) still did not work.
This is very frustrating having a problem that you cannot control in your application. This will drive the client mad, having a feature running then suddenly it is not.
any idea how to solve this issue? when I try to copy my agent to a new db it works.
I am sure this is a bug, what is the best way to submit it to lotus, my company is an IBM business partner.

This is not a known issue. It’s not a problem with all databases, but something specific to your design. Please work with Lotus Support to resolve the issue.

Hi,the error occurs on more than 1 database and on separate design elements. That’s why i don’t see it as related to my design and more as a bug.
Anyway, I was able to identify 1 common thing, I have opened all my agents in my main design and close it without save, I have noticed that 3 of my agents prompted to be saved although not modified, I logged into my hidden design db and noticed that these 3 agents are not running on this version.
This is somehow helping, whenever i send an ntf for the client i will check all my agents. But why these agents are prompting me to save and why they are not running on my hidden design, this is the main question for lotus to answer.

I’m not saying there’s not a bug in Notes. I’m saying we would need more information and probably a sample database to figure out what the problem is. It’s not a problem with every database in the world that has a hidden design. There’s something special you’re doing that creates the condition in which the bug manifests.- Andre Guirard
