Statrep - question

Dear all,I have a question about statrep.nsf:

  1. memory pages per second - from statrep.nsf - what does it mean?

I know that is "the number of times the Virtual Memory Manager

has to page to disk to resolve a memory reference;

should average below 100pages/sec"

but if you compare servers windows nt and os400 then you can see

that [of course if they have the same certain level of memory]

windows nt servers allocate almost all memory and their 'memory

page per second’ is low…

but os400 servers are allocating low level of system memory,

but their ‘memory pages per second’ are very big…

what does it mean?

2 what is the difference between stats from statrep;

I mean ‘total CPU utility’ and ‘CPU utility by processes’.

I can add that when comparing servers windows and os400…

windows servers have bigger total CPU utility almost twice…

os400 servers have a little bit bigger CPU utility by processes…

how I should interprate[comment/understand] these results?

thank you very much for answer and support.

have a nice day.
