Stationery issue in 8.5

Hi All,

We have a issue is stationery in lotus client 8.5.

User creates a stationery with attachment. He sends a mail using the stationery. Then stationery is getting removed. The same thing works fine without attachment.

Couple of users is facing is issue.

Please provide more detail. What exactly do you mean when you say “stationery is getting removed”?

Stationery has been disappeared from the list of stationeries (just like draft)

What folder (e.g., Inbox, All Docs, Stationery) was the user in, when they created the new mail message?

What are the exact steps that the user did, when they created and sent the new mail message with the stationery?

  1. User created a new stationery with attachment and saved it.

  2. from Inbox view → more → new memo using stationery → select the stationery and sent a mail.

  3. Now the created stationery is not showing under Tools → stationery and also under more → new memo using stationery.

Hope the above steps are clear… can u guess the issue?

but I am not able to reproduce your problem. I tried both Message and Personal stationery.

Is there any more information you can provide? Are you using 8.50 or a newer release (such as 8.51 or 8.52)? Have you replaced design of the mail file using the template that came with the release? Your use of the word “Memo” in the menu item tells me that it may be an older template, since 8.0 the menu item is “New Message Using Stationery”,

we r using 8.5.2. Its a message only. I wrongly mentioned as memo.

But our mail template is bit customized. And even i can’t reproduce the issue. Its working fine for me. but 4 users are facing the issue.

any more suggestions…

I realize this is an old post however, I have 2 users with the same issue. We are running Domino 8.5.2 FP2 on an AS\400. The 2 Clients are running on Windows XP SP3; 1 client is 8.5.2 FP3; the other is 8.5.3 FP1. Both use the 8.5.2 mail template with no modifications. Both users click “More” from their inbox, then select "New message with Stationery. They attach the file they need to send, when they click send the stationery they are working with is removed from the Stationey view.

Has anyone resolved this issue yet?
