Hi
I have desinged table and some buttons in the form. In the form on the onload event i called an agent which makes some of dynamice design like table and table contains values.
Now the problem is whenever this agent runs it loads the new page and in the new page it design dynamically. Is it possible that table and buttons which i statically designed that remains and the dynamice design of the table should be made in the particular area of the same form where static design is there.
Please help.
Thanks
Subject: Static Design
Your post is very confusing, but I’ll try to respond.
First of all, the stock-standard way to solve these things is to have subforms. That will give you the benefit of having some parts of the form static and others dynamic.
Second, you say you call an agent in the onLoad-event. The onLoad-event triggers after the whole page has been loaded into the web browser. And to call an agent at that stage, I can only see an AJAX solution. Is that what you are doing?
Third. Sure you can dynamically change parts of the form during runtime, that’s what div-tags and AJAX can be used for. Just take care that if you are creating input items and you are submitting the form, those items MUST exist as true Notes-items in the form, otherwise you will get errors.

What I was trying to do:
I have a computed value on the form. I have used @dblookup formula to fetch the list of documents from view. But as the documents list was too large that computed value gives me the String error do not exceed 65535 bytes. Then I used another concept, I had created an agent which fetch the documents list from view but it is not able to put these documents list on the
as it is not getting the div tag handle.
Also from where I can call this agent on the form. When I called it from webqueryopen it is not working as in webqueryopen it won’t print the document list. Then I used location.href=" url " but it is reloading the whole page so the the hidden fields, table and button which were statically designed on the form were lost.
Agent Code is:
Dim s As New notessession
Dim db As notesdatabase
Dim view As notesview
Dim doc As notesdocument
Dim dc As NotesDocumentCollection
Dim lists(1 To 200) As Variant
Dim ab As Variant
counter = 1
Set db=s.CurrentDatabase
Set doc1=s.DocumentContext
Set view=db.GetView("ProjectMaster")
'ecode=getQryStrValue( doc.Query_String_Decoded(0), "empcode=" )
'Print(ecode)
'Set dc = view.GetAllDocumentsByKey("0052", False)
Set doc=view.GetFirstDocument
While Not (doc Is Nothing)
lists( counter )=doc.ColumnValues( 10 )
sHTML="<style type='text/css'>td.sample{ padding : 2px; font : normal 9pt Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; border-color : #CECFCE #CECFCE #CECFCE #CECFCE; border-style : solid; border-top-width : 2px; border-right-width : 2px; border-bottom-width : 2px; border-left-width : 2px; background-color : rgb(239,239,239); }</style><table class='sample' width='100%'><tbody>"+lists( counter ) +"</tbody></table> "
Print sHTML
Set doc = view.GetNextDocument( doc )
counter = counter + 1
doc1.test(0)=sHTML
Wend
End Sub
As form has some buttons which were statically designed and on the same form there is <div id='ProjectDetails> so I need to put the documents list dynamically at
.
So what is the way to put the long document list on the div…
Thanks for help.

Now I think I understand better, although there is still some info missing. May I suggest that you try to explain as much as possible when you first submit a posting, that will surely give you more replies.
So you have a lookup that generates too big an answer for a field.
And now you want to generate that list ‘on the fly’ instead using an agent.
A WQO-agent works, but has limitation as it can only write values to fields. Since we already know we have a limitation there, we have a problem - don’t we?
One solution is to have the WQO-agent write to several hidden fields. You could have some form of logical scheme so to never exceed field limitations. You could also have the agent write to a hidden RichText-field.
Then in the form (in your div-tag) you use a computed text-area. As far as I know, a computed text-area does not have the same limitations as standard text fields.
Try that first, because it is the simplest solution.
If it doesn’t work, well look at other possibilities later.
