Starting Lotus Notes with notes://serveur

Hello,To start the Lotus Notes application from an other application i rebuild this instruction: start c:\Lotus\NotesFra\notes.exe =c:\Lotus\NotesFra\Data\notes.ini notes://serveur1/Developpement/CRN2Swing.nsf/AccesNotes?openform. When the Lotus Notes application is started i have no problem this instruction is correct, when the Lotus Notes application is not started, i must enter the password and it’s correct to, but if my Lotus Notes is started and if i use F5 to lock screen this instruction fail ! Is somebody knows how i can solve this problem? Thank You

I doubt it will help or change anything but I would suggest you use nlnotes.exe instead of notes.exe. I’ve found notes.exe tends to use the defaults, even if you specifiy the location of the notes.ini whereas nlnotes will definately go to where you specify.

I wonder if you change it to nlnotes if you might find it opens a second Lotus Notes session??

Thank you for your answer, i ha ve tried, but the problem is that it’s not possible because it try to open a new session and the system said that a previous session was probably terminate anormaly, and it’s not possible to open a new session…

I have just retry after reboot my Lotus Notes session and with nlnotes.exe the problem is similar.

Same reults meaning? Previous session was probably terminate anormaly or You’re not getting prompted for a password at the locked screen?

Again, don’t give this much of a chance but if you regetting the previous sessions message, I’m guessing you start your Lotus Notes with notes.exe vs nlnotes.exe. If so, you need to change that also.

After a restart, and if i use F5 i can not getting prompted for a password at the locked screen. I must clik in the center of the screen, and after entering the password, i have lost the link to the opendatabase!
