we have 3 severs in our domino domain.Our additional server(serverB) is not able to replicate to the serverB.It showing error “Replication cannot proceed because cannot maintain uniform ACL on replicas”.So If i remove the names.nsf from the domino data folder and start the serverB, Then replicate with other serverA, Will it work ?
As the new replica will be created from the
serverA.
can any one help me out to short out this problem.

No, it will not work.Check your ACL and check your LocalDomainServers groups in the names.nsf on the admin server (A?) first.
If all is OK (i.e. your Domino Domain configured correctly) try and find out what is conflicting with your uniform ACL setting. (Admin server in names.nsf ACL correct?)
Otherwise, you could try this:
Stop servers A and B.
Replace the names.nsf on server B by a copy of names.nsf of server A.
Start server B.
If your directory is configured correctly, this should be working well. Then again, you shouldn’t have this problem anyway…

Hi,
You can’t start a server without a names.nsf. But you have it running on a windows server so load up the nlnotes.exe on the server and pull a new replica across from one of the other servers and then load up the Domino server.
