Stange Happenning In Table Cell Formula

I have a table that looks similar to an Excel worksheet - 7 rows & 7 columns. One cell is calculated and has a formula like Field1 + Field2 + Field3 and works great. When I add an additional cell to the formula like Field1 + Field2 + Field3 + Field4 I get the error message “Incorrect data type for operand or @function: number expected”.

The strange part is I can cut and paste Field4 into a different cell and do not get the error message. All fields are formatted as numeric and I see no difference in the location of the cells that are giving the error versus those cells that don’t.

Just in case that cell or row was formatted in a way I could not see or find it, I deleted the row that contained Field4, recreated the row and Field4 but get the same results.

Any suggestions ?

If a field is blank, it can cause the incorrect data type error. Default value for you numeric fields should be 0.

Charles. Thanks for comments. I agree. The fields do have a default value of 0. Any other suggestions ?
