Hi,
I’ve just upgrade my (and some other) Notes client from 8.5.1 FP3 to 8.5.2 and now none of the clients does start.
The splash screen appears for 20 - 30 seconds and the following message appears :
Could not complete the operation. Notes is running but is not responding. Please close and restart Notes.
If i launch the client with -sa parameter, the basic client starts and works well.
We have tried to upgrade the Notes clients on our citrix environment but we have the same problem.
The client 8.5.1 was installed on citrix with the following parameters :
setup /v"SETMULTIUSER=1 MULTIUSERBASEDIR=n:\
MULTIUSERCOMMONDIR=c:\Notes\common CITRIX=1"
but for upgrade we don’t provide any parameters as the setup detects the previous installation parameters.

Subject: Same
We are getting the same error when the workstations reboot and launch Notes.
Have you found a solution to this problem yet?
Thanks
Subject: Unfortunately not … except uninstalling 8.5.1 and install 8.5.2

Subject: -RPARAMS -clean and/or -resetconfig
You obvoiusly have an eclipse-based issue. This may or may not work but you could try the following two options:-RPARAMS -clean
-RPARAMS -resetconfig
Modify your icon and add the -RPARAMS -clean parm to the end. If it launches, remove the parm. If it fails, try -RPARAMS -resetconfig. If this helps to launch the client, then remove the parm.
