There is no peer to peer replication in Notes. The only way that you can replicate is via a Domino server.
(I’d be happy to be proven wrong on this one, but I’m fairly sure I won’t be) ![]()

The only real option is probably to link the PC’s in the first place. If you shared a drive letter (or directory) across the two then you could replicate between two local replicas of a database.

Ummm, maybe you took Stephen’s email as a challenge, but you certainly can’t replicate client to client, even in the manner that you describe.
It’s not pretty, but I’ve seen people use the My Briefcase application (or some other file synching app) to keep client nsfs up-to-date. This way is, of course, fraught with peril (both clients should be down, changes should be made to a certain replica based on the synching direction, etc.)
Probably the least perilous way would be to copy the nsf manually at appropriate times. Even doing this you must keep track of which replica(s) you made changes on, etc.

Strange to see such words
what’s wrong with replication between two local replicas?
I’m using it for about 6 years …
It’s so easy to make a replica consists of 1 day changes of huge DB, then place it on zip drive & replicate one way at home… Much better than replicate 50MB data via dialup.
It is “offline replication”
place one replica in your notes client data directory - second in any other (hint it can be shared folder from other PC)
then replicate DB not in your data directory with server named “Local”
works fine for me…
