Hi,
I have setup webmail for my users through the web director database.
I am trying to use the Domino SSL setting to make the site secure.
The webmail.mycompany.com works if I leave the TCPIP to enable under the Server Document. THIS WORKS FINE.
As soon as I Change the TCPIP setting in the Server document - Internet Protocols - Web Tab to Redirect to SSL , the site stops working.
What am I doing wrong.
IE 7 show the error page cannot be displayed.

It does not work as https: // …or http: // as soon as the Redirect to SSL is enabled in the TCPIP port status
On the server console I get this message when I type the command
te http show security
Secure server not started waiting for https request

That message is fine. It won’t show any SSL connection until you make one.
The SSL redirection si correct, however I dont see that SSL is enabled.
Have you created the certificate? You should have the .kyr and .sth files copied to the server data and then you need to enable the SSL port in the Internet Protocol tab.
What did you do exactly? Can you post the output of these commands?
tell http show security (The complete output)
