SSL Redirect

Hello,I am currently working on having all our web access clients connect via ssl, i am trying to secure my domino environment. I have ssl set up and it works just fine at the moment. Although my dilemma is that, initial connection is on http not https, I want my users to as soon as they connect to the server that the connection is secured to authenticate once to enter to there https web mail. Currently they connect http, authenticate, then have to re-authenticate for an https connection. I am wondering what it is I am doing wrong, any help is greatfull.

Right click on database, choose properties. First tab properties, go to web access.

Make sure require ssl connectio is check marked.

Do this with any/all databases and it will over-ride all other settings and autimatically adjust http URLS into https etc.,

Once authenticated, re-auth should not be required.

Thanks for the response, I had that setting enabled, and it doesnt seem to do the job. Should the settings on the Web(HTTP/HTTPS) be left at default in the server document? Should I create a web internet site document for redirection or substitution?

There is a setting on the web site document / security tab… Redirect TCP to SSL… you want to set that to Yes.
