I have been using Lotus Notes to send and receive e-mail through my ISP (Bellsouth) for years. Last week Bellsouth implemented new filtering/spam prevention steps which evidently is preventing me from receiving POP3 mail. When trying to receive mail, I get “SSL IO Error”. Notes on both my PCs has never been configured to use SSL prevously so I tried setting it to use SSL, but with the same results. I have checked my Account and Location documents in Notes. I can still send mail OK (but not receive). I tried contacting the Bellsouth helpdesk but they basically said that Notes was not supported. Reading pages of messages with a browser is a real pain! What else should I try?Doug
