SSL certificate and server migration (R5 to R6)

We have a domino server which is public on the internet. The server has its own SSL certificate (auto generated), and the thing is up and running under Domino R5 since from 3 years ago.

Now we need to migrate the domino server to R6.5.3

Is there anyone knowing if

a) the “certificate thing” is unaffected from the migration

b) all things are the same, but when certification expires the recertification process has to be set up “a la R6”, ie rebuilt from scratch

c) the SSL certificate issued in an R5 environment are no more good under R& and all things need to be done again immediately.

Any previous experience?

The migration should not change the SSL cert, you need to just copy the two keyfle file associate with the SSL cert, I am more concert about the age of the cert, normally self cert are created for one year, your is three years.

Carlos, seems my certificate was issued about one year ago, and the age is 2 years.

I think that, being it a self certificate, i do better reissue a new one immediately after the migration, in order to avoid problems next year when the current certificate will expire.
