Whenever I click a link in an email or other Notes doc or Internet page in the embedded browser that takes me to a SSL encrypted page, I receive an alert asking me if I want to go there. Each time, there’s a check box asking if I want to have this happen next time, so I uncheck the box. Next time I go to access an SSL link, I get prompted again.
Would it be possible to get the browser to do what I want? Even better, can there be a setting somewhere so that this can be set ahead of time (maybe even policy controlled)?
If I click the “do not bother me again” option, I should NEVER be asked again about accessing a SSL link.
But I can not reproduce the issue you reported on recent build. Actually, there are several similar alerts, and I can make them disappear via uncheck the check box.
Which alert were you seeing when reporting the issue?
Thanks for the response. What I’ve been seeing is images 2 and 3. I don’t recall going to a page where I’ve entered any information recently. I’ll keep an eye on it and reply again if I see it with the other warning.
Will there be any way to configure Notes to not show the “informational” warnings - either by dialog, notes.ini and/or policy settings?
