Hi,
I have been updating the look of a derectory database for a government agency. I made alot of modifications to the visual aspect of the database, but very little to the functionality. I changed the database Icon and a few other things like navigators and the color of certain part of the database, nothing major… When we applyed the new template to the database all went well except that the bookmark icons did not change on the users notes client. Also when they access the database by the bookmarks it give a wierd mixture of the old version and the new version… I tried deleting the bookmarks, and all the icons on there workspace, even the ones of other replicas, etc, and reopening the database after rebooting the notes client. After reopening the database and recreating the bookmark the database seems to have all the right modifications but the icon is still the old version… I also did the same procedure and added deleting the cache.NDK which seemed to fix the problem in most cases. However… I cannot afford to go arround to 2000 or 3000 users to delete there cache files, etc. I need a way to send a mail with a link or something that would update there bookmarks so that the link is made to the new version of the database and so that the icon is changed to the new version…
ANY help will be gratly apreciated for I have tried alot already and am running out of ideas…
