SQL Server vs DB2

Let me first say, I’m a newbie !

We are currently in the process of determining what data storage we want. It is between SQL Server 2008 or DB2.

We will have about 1 million rows of data stored in a given year.

We would like to have some real-time capabilities.

Not sure what other questions I need to answer to make a more informed decision.

Subject: If you need it for NSFDB2 - go with DB2

Only IBMs DB2 server will give you the option of storing Notes databases in a SQL database: NSFDB2.
