SPR & Fix

HCL Domino Domino Forum

Hi all,

We are actually running a Domino 6.5.1 in a 2003 environment.

Some days ago, we were faced a problem : the server crashed with the error message “PANIC 02:2A”.

After this, I contacted our support and it gave me a clue : SPR #SKER5V9MEB “This fix prevents a MIME to CD converter crash caused by incoming MIME messages containing zero-byte attachments with “x-mac”…”.

=> We have to migrate our 6.5.1 to the release 6.5.2 or later.

We are not in the situation where we can easily peforme a complete migration => here is my question :

Is there a small patch that ** only ** contains corrections for the SPR #SKER5V9MEB ?

Thanks for your help.

Ragards.

Subject: SPR & Fix

you have to call support again telling them you cannot upgrade to 6.5.2 and that you would need a hotfix for 6.5.1 based on the SPR #.

They usually ask for a business case to justify the request.

Good luck
