We have several users including myself where several times during the week if I try to start up the lotus notes client it will just show the splash screen and go away. If I try to start lotus notes again it usually starts. The issue seems to somehow be related to trying to startup lotus notes immediately after unlocking windows or logging into windows. If I unlock windows and wait about 5 minutes it seem to be able to prevent it from happening. This issue seems to be new since I’ve gone to version 7. I’ve been trying to work with IBM to come up with a solution but at this point it seems like their resolution is going to be to tell users to wait 5 minutes before starting lotus notes.
Does anyone have any ideas of some other troubleshooting steps we can perform to see what’s preventing lotus notes from starting up?
