I have a LAN to LAN connection (LAN-A & LAN-B) with a 5mb/s connection speed, where I have a domino server on each LAN (Server-A & Server-B). If I try to open a database on Server-A from LAN-B it takes a lot of time to open, if this takes too much time, the communication interrupts and the database cannot be opened.
In the same way if I try to open a DB on server-B from LAN-A it happens the same problem.
The servers are new, they do not have processor, memmory, disk space or disk speed problems.
They have different agents running on the nights when the LAN to LAN connection’s bandwidth is free. These agents should last 1 or 2 hours as much, but they take more than 6 hours and never finish.
We thought it could be a network problem, but we made different tests and it never uses all the bandwidth. We also thought it could be problems with processor, memmory or disk, but they are not using all the resources available.
Is there any way in the Domino that a restriction, rule or configuration may be restricting the performance and speed accesing the servers?
