Hello, after installing LN8, I am no more able to sort the Buddy list as I want. the buddy list is always sorted alphabetically by group name, and the users in the groups are sorted alphabetically by FIRST name.I would like to sort my groups as I want to have the order (no alphabetical order) and the names by LAST name. This should also be kept, when I restart!
Is there a possibility to do this?? Thx.

You can disable sorting, or enable sorting. If you disable sorting, you can drag and drop names to the order you want. The contents of public groups however cannot be dragged around, as that sort is done by the Sametime server.

Thanks for the hint. I have my groups now in the order I need them.But if the contacts are sorted alphabetically, they are sorted by their first name.
How can I sort them by last (family) names?

The sametime administrator would need to change how names are returned on the server in the LDAP configiration, so that they would be displayed lastname, firstname.
