Some users see the deletion flag when deleting, others don't

Some of our users will see the deletion flag (the black X) for emails that they delete and must hit F9/refresh to remove the emails from the Inbox/etc, and some users will have the email immediately disappear. Both users have the default soft deletion settings, soft deletion is enabled, etc. This is not dependant on the client, but rather the mailfile. I can access both of these user’s mailfiles and duplicate the behavior from the same client. So far every setting I’ve looked at matches identically between the users.

Any ideas?

I have this problem with two difffernt ID’s I have access to, using the same client.

I’ve always assumed the problem (as I haven’t bothered to fix it) was the mail design on the other (where I get the black X’s) is out of date and I need to do a design refresh to get the “immediate” delete functionality.

have you tried to update the mail deisgn for those still getting the X’s?

When I had this problem before I did do that, and from what I recall it didn’t change anything. I will try it again and post the results.

I also get the black X’s in my mailfile but I prefer it that way… I am running our Std template + some custom functionality but mine has always been the same.
