As a newbie to this forum I am unsure if IBM actually responds to these or if they are user community only.
I would be interested to hear if there is a reason for this.
If you attempt to install CUPS 1.2.6 by Source (./configure, make, make install) it will cause the Lotus Client for Linux to crash with NSD before the password is even presented.
The splash screen will present, then the app starts to load, then immediate NSD.
UPDATE - If you add a printer to the OS, It would cause Notes to NSD. There is a patch that has been issued. See this page…
