The true magic of the Forum, for me, is the lions’ share of the time I find the solution in less than ten minutes after posting a question here. It’s uncanny.
-
I’ve spent literally hours upon hours upon hours looking for the answer to facets, and scant minutes after posting the question below, I suddenly discover that Lotus took it upon themselves to call a facet an “Editable Area”. EXACTLY the same thing, just given an oddball name.
-
So the answer to my question is to put an “Editable Area” control in. DING. Facet enabled.

Hope this helps someone…

I’ve seen tons of examples on how to use a “pre-existing” facet, most commonly a JSF tutorial that uses facets for header and footer. I want to know how to define a facet in a custom control, so I can then use the <f:facet> tags when I put that control on the page. I can’t seem to find that anywhere.

The Domino Wiki does have a blurb, and it is almost literally a blurb, on factes in Domino. I know they’re in there … I just can’t find reference material on them.

Thanks for your time…
