Ignore platform ‘Linux - RedHat’.This post is about Debian, but it is not in platform list. It can be included now 
After struggling with a brand new install of Domino 6.5.4 (full pack - not incremental) I was able to get it running without crashing seconds before starting up.
Magic command is:
apt-get install libstdc++2.9-glibc2.1
This package is available now only in a distribution named oldstable.
Without this library, running server tasks will result an error message claiming for file ‘libstdc+±libc6.1-1.so.2’.
If you force a symlink of this name to a libc version 6.2 it will crash server when starting up.
