SOLUTION: Selecting addresses, ($PeopleGroupsFlat) and conflicts

Update 2:The issue cam back again, restarting server did not fix issue. But I checked with a couple of users and they did not have a connection to one of the servers in the cluster, I created a connection in their local address book, this appears to have fixed problem…???

The view on all 3 servers in cluster is not corrupt

Update 1:

For anyone who finds this post for future ref…

This is too simple to really be called a solution, and does not really provide me with any cause, but it solvled problem. I restarted server. Problem solved, I can’t explain why.

========

Have 2 clustered servers (mail and apps), just installed a 3rd on Win 2003, not yet clustered. Maybe coincidence, but this issue appeared shortly after this.

In notes client 6.5.x (most 6.5.5), when composing an email and bringing up the address book picker via the “Address” button or the “To” hotspot (@command([MailAddress])), when the Directory is set to the Company Directory, the view is full of “Save or Replication Conflicts”. I checked the NAB, there do not appear to be any conflict documents. I ran a fixup\updall\compact on the NAB. The view “($PeopleGroupsFlat)” which the @command([MailAddress]) is based on, does not appear to contain any conflicts.

Type ahead works correctly in “Send to” fields.

New server replicates names, admin4 with clustered servers every 60 mins. DESIGN task is not running on any servers. I did not change the replica IDs of the ntf files (I know some people recommend this)…all I can think of at this stage, there has been some design conflict of the view (I have seen this in the past…user has a view open, you make a change to the view, the view becomes corrupted, until the back out of the db, go back in…alll is well). I checked the view design document properties, I don’t see any $conflict fields, so assume it is OK.

I restarted the server.

My next step might be to delete the view and replace it from the view from Domino Directory template.

Anyone seen this before?

All comments and suggestions gladly welcomed.
