SOAP Fault and HTTP 500

Domino web service fault sent over SOAP HTTP Response returns HTTP status code 200.

But according to:

Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) 1.1

and

Basic Profile Version 1.1

http://www.ws-i.org/Profiles/BasicProfile-1.1.html#HTTP_Client_Error_Status_Codes

and

Basic Profile Version 1.2

http://ws-i.org/profiles/BasicProfile-1.2-WGD.html#BP1126

it must return HTTP 500 eror/status code.

Can this be changed somewhere in the configuration or is it again simply a bug and ignorance of standards?
