SMTP Server: error opening mail box: File in use by another program

Hi All,

once a week, between friday and sunday, the database mail.box could not send and receive mail. In the file log.nsf i read this error “SMTP Server: error opening mail box: File in use by another program”. For resolve this error i must cancel the mail box e restart the server domino.

Could Anyone suggest

me an idea to resolve this issue.

Is your backup routine perhaps opening and holding the file open?

No because the backup routine is scheduled in another time respected the block of the mail.box
