SMTP Protocol Returned Permanent Error 552

Hi,All users are sending mails from lotus notes with attachment of 2 or 3 mb to anywhere address. They receive delivery failure message “Error transferring to mx3.HOTMAIL.COM; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 552 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size”. Can you help me why this problem comes?

My configuration don´t have size restrictions

Subject: SMTP Protocol Returned Permanent Error 552

The receiving party (mx3.hotmail.com) reports that the message size exceeds the maximum size. So the recipient’s server doesn’t like the size of the mail. nothing you can do about, except sending smaller mails to these recipients.

If I send mails with gmail to hotmail it´s ok (4Mb message size). however if I send with my business mail it is not ok.
