SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 552 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size

Hi,I am using Domino Server 8.5.I set ‘Maximum Message Size’ to 10 MB. When i send mail within the domain having size more than 1.5 MB, it is being sent successfully.But mails sent to other domains result in bounce back email with an error message “SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 552 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size”.

Please advice.

Subject: Check Firewall Settings

Unless the recipient’s mail-box is indeed full as per the SMTP 552 error you are receiving, check your Firewall’s configuration for any size restrictions on SMTP messages.
