All right Guys I have 2 Windows 2k3 Boxes Both of them are running Domino 6.5.5 FP1. What I am trying to achive is a failover/load balancing for our internal Domino Servers and SMTP Out and SMTP IN.
Some help in the right direction would be great.

Actually I had an Idea.Set DNS mail records to the same priority. And cluster the 2 Domino Servers. Would that give me what I am looking for?

Had the same thought but if the MX records have the same priority, which mail server will take precedence? I would think your main mail server would have priority 10 and the failover server have a priority of 20 - post what you end up with - curious about a solution for this as well.

Best way to do this is to add a load balancer and point inbound or outbound mail to the load balancer. The Load balancer can distribute mail traffice between the two domino servers.
