Smtp error

Hi friends !!I have installed Domino 8.0.1 server on RHEL 5.1 everything is running fine.

I found one error comes in log.nsf file as below

12/20/2008 01:09:57 AM ERROR: bindsock’ helper application is missing, not executable, not setuid root, or no sticky bit set

12/20/2008 01:09:57 AM SMTP Server: Listener failure: ‘bindsock’ is missing, not executable, not owned by root, not setuid root or user needs net_privaddr privilege.

12/20/2008 01:09:57 AM Suspending listen task for 20 seconds due to network errors

can anybody tell me what’s wrong or I have to change some setting…

(mails are going from server)

Subject: SMTP ERROR

Normally all ports <1024 cannot be opened without permission on a linux system.What you have to do is set the Sticky bit(Advanced permission “set UID”) on;

standard located in “/opt/ibm/lotus/notes/latest/linux”

I am new to LINUX and having the same problem. How and where do i set this Sticky bit and what does it do?
