Hi,
Trying to get the bottom of this error whilst setting up domino as a SMTP Server.
It looks like it is transferring the mail to the SMTP relay at the ISP, however it is being denied.
Any ideas of what to do?
Log excerpt:
23/04/2004 00:30:30 Router: Transferring mail to domain relay.plus.net (host relay.plus.net [212.159.11.46]) via SMTP

The relay server have anti spam rules enabled. one of this rules verify if the sender domain (MAILFROM SMTP) can be found into DNS.For example your mail go to the relay with MAILFROM SMTP=xxx@nonexistentdomain.com; the relay made a query to dns to verify if domain “nonexistentdomain.com” exist. If the domain is not found in dns the relay reject your connection.
Hope this can help you.

Most likely your server doesn’t have correct reverse entries (PTR) in the DNS for your domain. See what happens if you do an nslookup for the IP-number of your server.
