SMTP email address

I am trying to set up a v8 server with SMTP to send nail to the internet.I thought it would be easy, I put the name of our ISP SMTP server in the relay field and our email domain name (xxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk)in the Fully qualified internet host name. Domino tries to send but the email address is uses has the form user name/xxx%xxx@.co.uk (where SRL is our organisation name). Our ISP rejects this as it want all mail comming from us to be from the domain xxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk

What am I doing wrong please?

We can’t help you without more details, but it appears you have missed the e-mail address configuration.
