SMTP Address Rewrite - Coexistence

Afternoon

We are running a co-existence phase and have the requirement to rewrite the smtp address from notes and exchange to match the corporate address @company.Com - the internal address is @exchange.uk and @notes.uk.

Can anyone please confirm if notes can provide this level of functionality and if so which version. My notes Gateways are handling all inbound and outbound mail and are V6 at present.

Subject: Global Domain Document

Hi Carl,

You could create a Global Domain document and add the new domain name as an alias in the Conversions tab → “Alternate Internet domain aliases” field. This way mail can be sent to either the old or new domain name and will still get delivered. If you choose to do this, be sure to restart the Router and SMTP tasks after saving and closing the Global Domain document.
