I’m trying to upgrade my Notes Client from 6.0.2CF2 to 6.0.3 using Smartupgrade. I’ve followed the steps, but I can’t seem to make it work. Not only does it not prompt me that an upgrade is about to take place, but when I try to launch the upgrade by selecting Files-Tool-Smartupgrade I get the following error msg "Unable to locate an upgrade kit for you in Smart Upgrade DB Upgrade.nsf
I’ve deleted and re-created the Upgrade.nsf DB, I’ve tried to point it to the network share where this .exe file is as well as attached it to the DB. I downloaded the upgrade that I saw under the Dowloads section of the website, the exe file I have is called c51klna.exe. Can anyone help me out here?
Thank you in advance

James, try renaming the file to “setup.exe”. When I was having trouble getting it to work, I read somewhere to do this and it worked like a champ. It would be nice if you wouldn’t have to rename it.

I tried that but it didn’t work, I’m going back thru the entire process again, to make sure I’m not missing anything, this is very frustrating. Thanks Tony

Does the configuration document for your home server include the doclink to the smartupgrade database?

Check the Source version field in the SmartUpgrade database kit documents. Make sure it is the exact version string that appears in the Help\About dialog box (or use *).
Also check that you are listed in the Allowed Users field, or that the field is left blank.

Thank you guys for the help. Yes Jeff I left put the word Release out in the source field and that’s why it wasn’t working.
