I’ve recently tested using SmartUpgrade to execute a Visual Basic script or a batch file in order to perform an install of the Notes client. It runs successfully with either a batch file or vb script, however upon completion does not report back to the upgrade tracking database. That feature only runs if the package is set to excecute the .exe installer. I was told by IBM that it’s not possible to use the upgrade tracking db when executing batch files or scripts from SmartUpgrade. Does anyone else have experience with this? I also can’t seem to find an incremental upgrade for the Notes client from 8.0.1 to 8.0.2, was there ever one released?
