Smart Upgrade successful but report status interrupted

I successfully upgraded a test client from Release 8.5 to Release 8.5.1 using smart upgrade, however the report generated a final status of interrupted and appeared under the failed section of the Smart Upgrade Tracking Reports. I did the entire process over by uninstalling notes release 8.5.1, re-installing release 8.5 and running the upgrade again, however same result.

Below is a copy of the report.

Subject: Smart Upgrade successful but report status interrupted

Any advice on how to fix this error would be greatly appreciated.

Subject: Same error, looking for solution

I got the same error. Everything seems good except the status.

Any help will be great

Subject: Same Issue going from 8.0.2 FPX to 8.0.2 FP6

I am seeing the same issue when installing 8.0.2 FP6 to existing 8.0.2 FPX clients.

I am using a batch file in my Smart Upgrade Kit.

The last line of my batch file launches a program. I thought possibly that was causing my issue, but I have tried it w/out that line and same status.

Subject: Matching values in fields

Deploy version in Desktop Settings must match the Destination version in SU Kit document.

If these two do not match you get “Failed” even though the upgrade was successful.

I had the same “problem” and matching the values in these field solved it.
