Smart Upgrade Reporting and Initializing Prompt

I am having two problems with Smart Upgrade.

The first is that some users never get the prompt to install the software. If they manually go to Smart Upgrade it works.

The second is that the reporting for Smart Upgrade does not seem to be working correctly. In the first 10 or so people that were upgraded, I can already see two that show no report in the Smart Upgrade Tracking Database. Is there anything that I can do to make the tracking more accurate?

For those that are getting prompted and tracked and for those that are not…

Both of these features of Smart Upgrade are configured via policies so maybe some users don’t have the policy you expect?

Subject: Suceeded Reports not being generated

I also have a similar issue with 8.5 Smart Upgrade.

User are being prompted although only Canceled or Failed reports are being sent to the mail-in database. No succeeded reports are generated.

I’m having exactly the same issue, I get failure and cancel notifications but no succeed notifications. As a not very good workaround I’ve had to check adminp to see if a client update request has been logged to update the person doc’s client build to 8.5
