I’m still trying to get SmartUpgrade to work, and can’t get it right …
I have created a SmartUpgrade DB, I have a link in the Directory, and i created the doc like this :
This Smart Upgrade kit can be used to upgrade this version of Lotus Notes:
Source version: Release 6.0.1
Operating system: Windows/32
Localization: English
After applying this kit, the client will be running this version of Lotus Notes:
Destination version: Release 6.0.1CF1
Restart Lotus Notes after upgrade completes Enabled
Optional arguments: /S /v/qb+
And when I try to run Tools SmartUpgrade I get :
Unable to locate an upgrade kit for you in the Smart Upgrade Database XXX/XXX/XX smart_up.nsf
What am I not doing well?
I tried changin localozation to French as my OS is French, but no better.
What did I miss?

Edit: 24/06/2003help says the opt arguments are /s /v"qb+". Try
/v"/qb!+"
But puisque tu as l’air Français : j’ai fait 2 groupes : un pour un package lotus et un autre pour un package lotus/designer, chaque groupe affecté à un kit dans la base smartupgrade. Indiquer “Release 6.0” dans le champ edition source et “Release 6.0.1CF1” dans le champ version cible (sans les guillemets). D’autre part la police d’organisation paramètres desktop (bureau) peut avoir le champ version source à blanc, sinon il faut qu’il corresponde pile-poil au champ correspondant des kits. Il y a aussi quelque part (kit ou policy) une date limite. attention aux clt win9x : faut minimum un caractère ascii dans le champ “admin notes des kits”.
Mais dis moi, après ces bon tuyaux dans une belle langue, pourquoi sur mes clients (NT+…) le process SU ne se déclenche pas automatiquement quand ils lancent Notes…tudieu et ventre saint-gris!!!

You dis nothing à propos du field “path”.Il parait que le pgm cible doit être à la racine d’une lettre de disque mappée; see my posts of today
