Did this user recently have a name change performed? We periodically have clock issues with mail file folders after a person rename. First, try using the update folder design feature. If that fails, try making new replica’s of the file.

If the username in question has had a name change or a move user in hierarchy, try signing the mail file database with the active server ID and this should resolve the problem - the issue has to do with folder or view design elements having the old username stamped on the design element and the notes client is doing a security check to see if the new username is authorized to read the design element signed by the old username.
