Slow server shut down

Hi,

Anyone know why Domino takes so long to shut down. I stop the service and I can see it releasing the memory but it takes around 20 minutes for it to finish. This happens on all out server that have been up more than a week and on all versoin of 6.5.x

The memory usuage is very high, but is there a way to spped this up without invoking a consistency check on the restart ???

Anyone else noticed this ?

We had the same problem which was fixed by installing service pack 1 for Windows 2003 server :
