I have a web application that behaves very strange! The application lays on a server at another company and I think the problem is on the server but I am not sure so I would really like som help to solve this problem.
The application works like this: A user logs on to the system to make an order and when he press send a confirmation page shows and the order is visible in the view for the order handler.
This has been working very well until just 4 days ago when strange things started do happen. And it only happens sometimes?!? When a user make an order and press send it first takes a lot of time before anything happens and then no confirmation page shows. And the order does not show in the view for the order handler. The order just kind of disapear!
And as I wrote it only happens sometimes and not always!
For me it seems like it has to do with the server response time, am I correct or could there be another reason for why the application behaves like this?
