If I view a word or excel document from inside client, I can view it fast, but if I open it the process it’s very slow, and sometimes the program hangs. The computer it’s a new one with Core 2 Duo processor and 1 GB RAM.

do you have anti virus installed? probably symantec?try to disabled the anti virus and see if that works. if that works try to reinstall the antivirus.

We have install McAffe installed in all the computers, one of them with the same specs, and only that have the problem.JC

I had similiar problem. I have one or two client that having problem when opening attachment. All client are installed with symantec anti virus CE version 8.x.After days checking, a silly idea came from a friend to disable the anti virus. Running out of ideas, I did that, and he was right.
After disabled that anti virus, opening the attachment not a problem anymore. To solve the problem I just removed and installed the anti virus again.
Maybe, you have the some problem - maybe not.
