For those who are going to Lotusphere, you can now get session time and information on the Lotus website. (For those who are not, hurry up and register. This is looking like one of the best Lotusphere’s ever).
Every year people gripe about getting the Lotusphere session information in accessible (read: synchable with my Palm Pilot or other PDA) formats, I have completed my sixth annual labor of love and converted the sessions to a db, but it is good for much more than just PDA synching. There are fun bells and whistles to make the database useful for planning purposes as well. This year, the Penumbra group, of whom Genii Software is but one of thirty companies, has offered cool features and functions to add even more value. One of my favorites will show up in our on-line version that we are introducing this year.

My blog post where I provide more information (and unfettered enthusiasm)
Note: this year, the database starts with almost all the information in place, more than ever before on our first release. But it is worth coming back and watching for future releases, as some of the fun is yet to come.
By the way, if you choose to use the db to do some exciting and cool app, be sure to let me know so I can mention it on the web page. I love to give credit, and think of how many people will see your cool app. More than 2600 Lotusphere attendees downloaded the sessions db last year, and that doesn’t count people who got it from a friend.
