Single Sign On Issues

Hi All,

I’ve been experiencing this issue where I can’t log in via DWA due to problems which I’m assuming are related to SSO.

What happens is, every time I try to log in with a user (Internet Password set in Person Document) via DWA, the page keeps on prompting me to enter the credentials again. I’m providing the correct user name and password every time but to no avail.

Could some one please help me in identifying the root cause of this issue

Many Thanks

Mj

Have you checked the logs to try and ascertain why it is refusing you access?

Subject: SSO

There’s nothing in the log.nsf on my Domino Mail Server

I’ve also tried to deliberately log in with the wrong credentials to check if a log will be created but there’s was none.

The strange thing is, even when I log in with the correct credentials, the page prompts me again for credentials. It does not say that my credentials were invalid…

Make sure on your SSO document that the DNS domain listed is the same domain that you are accessing the server with

Subject: DNS

Hi Andrew,

The DNS Domain specified in SSO Configuration is the same for the server I’m trying to access with.

This DWA issue is crippling my environment. Help would be really appreciated

Subject: i guess…dwaredirect.nsf

that the user has no access to the DWARedirect Database and thus can’t be redirected to his mail.

Subject: Dwadirect

I can’t seem to find any dwadirect.nsf databases on my mail server…

Subject: dwaredirect

Actually, dwaredirect is the template name … NSF file can have another name.

I would also check if the internet password lockout function is in use and unlock the user if it is.

Subject: Response

Internet password lockout is not enabled.

Is there anyway that I could trace the authentication session to see where its breaking?

in the data directory itself. its a default database so it should be there.

to check if the user has proper access u could write directly the link to his mailbox too and then login.

Thats what I’ve been trying to do, ie. writing the link of the user in IE and trying to log in, however this is where the problem comes in where I keep on getting prompted to type in the user credentials even though the username and password supplied are correct!
