Hello.We had a shared Install of the Notes 5.0.10 and have now created a shared install of Notes 6.5.1 on our server that users point to. The upgrade was smooth except that the SSO Option to log in using Windows Login Password is greyed out.
Any ideas how to get this back?
Is it a reg hack or maybe a ini change to get that active so that it can be turned on?
Basically on our setup Shared Install on H (Network Drive of all files) the DATA directory is on their local drive with Notes.ini on local. (at 5.0.10) We basically made them a new shortcut to the 6.5.1 shared directory and it seems to work…but the SSO.

Is the desktop locked down? We only see it disabled if you don’t have admin. rights on the local machine.

No users have full Admin rights on their pc and can install or do anything at the desktop…

I have a similiar setup in here, our users have their Notes data files on the f drive and the notes program is installed on a file server, their m drive, where the user connects to these shares on login, in order to open their notes.
I also have the option of single sign on greyed out… When you are installing the notes client, there is an option to add the single sign on as a service…
You can do this, if you are installing the program locally but not if you are installing to a file server, as is in my case… ( the client is installed to the shared m drive )
Installation fails and rolls back…
So how do we enable the service to run locally on the workstation, if the client is not installed locally ??
