Single Sign On from Notes client to Web application

Scenario : 1. User Login Notes

 2. When user open an email with an URL (which is an Web application run on Domino server and need user's sign off)

Question :

 When user click that URL to open that applied form on web to sign, it prompts a login page to identify the privilege.

 Could this login process be eliminated ? because user login Notes client already.

I believe the answer is no, as the http authentication is a different process than for the notes client.

Unless you get any answers to the contrary I’d assume that
