Single Logon service installed, but not starting?

I am wanting to deploy Notes 7.0.2 as a managed application using a GPO in AD to upgrade all my clients ranging from 6.0.1 to 7.0.1 up to 7.0.2. I’ve used msiexec to create a network managed install location for notes, but it did not automatically install Notes Single Logon. I used an MSI package tweaker to set that option to be installed in the created MSI. However, once installed on a test machine, the nsl service is available as a service and is set to automatically start, but it does not start. I can start it manually and it appears to start up fine but it does not start on its own at windows startup. Also, a workmate just updated his 7.0.1 notes, designer and admin client to 7.0.2 using the 7.0.2 CD we received in the mail and his is doing the same thing. Is this a problem with the MSI I am trying to use or Notes 7.0.2 in particular? I have searched in the forums and in the support and have not seen anything regarding this problem. I am probably missing something basic, but I cant see it for some reason…

Thanks,

James

Subject: Single Logon service installed, but not starting?

Creating a transform file and using the default msi that comes with the CD seems to have fixed the single logon feature, but now after the upgrade via a GPO, on the Welcome Page, instead of saying “Notes 7” it says “Notes 6.5” where before it had said “Notes 6”. The “About Notes” under help indicates that it is Notes 7.0.2 but for some reason the welcome page is wrong. On my PC I did the upgrade manually only using the notes, admin, designer upgrade kit, and it shows Notes 7 on the welcome page as expected.

Help!!!

Subject: Single Logon service installed, but not starting?

When i install a client and choose single logon, in File/Security/User Security, the option “Login to Notes using your operating system login” is mark bat it doesn’t work.

I have to unmark, save, and mark again and save; then it tells me that it will works on next restart.

I don’t now why but that it is.
